"Bad day at the Boy's Club"

Films: Ghost Story (1981)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Men can do some particularly stupid things. They may try and forget about it, but the memory burns forever, and more times than often, it has a nasty way of coming back.

History: Back in 1929 New England, a flirt by the name of Eva Galli got the attention of four men, who's friendship was tested by their attraction to her. It ended badly, with an argument resulting in accidentally knocking her unconscious. They thought she was dead, so they dumped her in the lake, killing her for real. Decades later, they were still haunted by that incident, both figuratively, and now literally. Weird murderous phenomena is afoot, and it could be the work of Eva's vengeful spirit.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, the men come to terms with their past, and after fishing Eva's corpse from the lake, the haunting ends, with Eva presumably at peace at long last.

Powers/Abilities: Pure omnipotence.

Weakness: Will leave the mortal realm if satisfied with her vengeance.

Scariness Factor: 4-If her chilling backstory isn't enough, there's the fact that time has NOT been kind to her dead body. A rotting corpse is her preferred form, and it's scary enough to drive people off bridges.

Trivia: -Fred Astaire, the lead actor, reportedly always felt a feeling of unease and feared the potential of death all throughout production, and nearly backed out of it all.

-There was a slightly less detailed version of Eva's ghost to be shown, but the design got the shaft, and only appeared in the 1999 remake of "House on Haunted Hill".

A tale as old as...well, a few decades ago.

She even looks like the type to hold grudges.
She really doesn't need a mask to be scary.

You may vomit due to the bride.

Be glad we didn't find a good image of her minus the eyes.
